GENERAL HELP

The orders are processed in the same sequence as we receive them.
Depending on the amount, the time to fulfil an order varies between 2 and 4 weeks.

Information concerning the choice of the correct heating element for a radiator
is available under Heating rods for radiators.

In order to connect a heating element to a bathroom radiator which is connected to a central heating system, it is necessary to use a T-piece. Precise information is available under Heating rods for radiators

List of data which makes it easier for us to prepare an estimate:
-purpose of the heating element / working environment (water, air, gas, oil, other substances),
-electrical parameters,
-shape and measurements of the heating element (drawing),
-type of the electrical connection,
-type of the head for fixing the heating rod inside the device,
-possible special requirements,
-amount.

There is no minimum amount. We can produce even one single heating rod for you.

Heating elements are usually a component part of a larger device
(like a washing machine, a cooker, a water-heater etc).

The instructions of the manufacturer of the device must be followed and only authorized
services be entrusted with the repairs.

The same rules apply to heating rods which are to a certain extent independent devices
(such as the heating rods for bathroom radiators manufactured by our company).

The operating instructions must absolutely be followed and the heating rod must be connected to the socket with a safety plug.
If the above rules are complied with, it is perfectly safe to use electrical heating rods.

H+ HEATER

E1 Lack of water or wrong choice of the heater to the radiator.

Check the level of  water in your radiator. Pure water or glycol 20% /water 80% mixture is recommended

If H+ E is installed inside the radiator that works also in the central water system (central heating) please proceed the following steps:

  1. Turn off the heater.
  2. Check if the radiator is fully filled with water and purged of air.
  3. Turn off the central water heating, or just shut one valve of the radiator with the heater.
  4. Wait until the radiator became cold and next turn on the heater.

The heater should start working in accordance with its settings.

Please remember, the water level inside radiators is very important both for electric only and dual fuel ones. In the central heating system one should assure that the radiator is fully purged of air.

The next important tip is that whilst heating with heating element (e.g. H+ E heater) the radiator must be shut at one valve and fully filled with water.

Generally, electric heaters are for use after / before the heating season, when central heating does not work. H+ E heater should not be in use when central water heating system is on. If it is used in such a system (e.g. floor heating) we recommend equipping the radiator with a shutting valve, in order to separate it from the central water, otherwise the heater might work improperly.

E3    No communication with the remote controller.

1/During the first start-up:

a/ check if the remote controller is in the kit.

b/ push the pairing button on the rear side of the remote to activate it.

c/ press one of the  buttons – the Led is flashing red – the controller is active

Yes, you can install H+ heater in horizontal position, but for this purpose we recommend H+h model.

Due to safety reasons you can install an electric heater at a minimum distance of 60cm from a sink/bath. You cannot install any heater above a sink or bath.

For a start, we offer covers for O-shape and D-shape collectors.

You can set a water temperature between 20 and 65 degrees. If you have a H+R remote controller paired you can switch to an ambient temperature regulation. Then you can set a temperature between 10 till 30 degrees

A Turbo-boost function is designed for quick drying and heating). By using this you can set a maximum water temperature (65 degrees) for 1, 2 or 3 hours. It doesn’t matter if you control water or ambient temperature.

Yes, it’s possible to buy and pair a remote controller. Please ask your sale point, or you can contact us directly.

H+ heater may be hard wired to the electrical system in compliance with UK electrical regulations.

Wire colours: Brown=Live; Blue=Neutral; Green and Yellow=Earth

For the heater permanently connected (hard wire) there must be applied a cut-off device from the mains. Such a device must disconnect the heater from the supply mains in 2 poles, with contact separation of at least 3 mm.

First, please check if on/off switch is put in ‚on’ position. The switch you’ll find at the bottom of back casing (see drawing below). Please note that this switch is present only in hard wire version (straight cable without a plug).

Yes, you can install H+ heater in horizontal position, but for this purpose we recommend H+h model.

Due to safety reasons you can install an electric heater at a minimum distance of 60cm from a sink or bath. You must not install any heater directly above a sink or bath.

For a start, we offer covers for O-shape and D-shape collectors.

H+P programmer

H+P programer allows to manage electric heating system, composed of max.8 heating zones (Z1, Z2 etc.) and max.24 radiators installed in rooms. The system permits to group them and programm ambient temperatures in different modes, which you can adjust individually.

H+P programmer features:

  • wireless radio communication – the programmer controls heaters in whole house
  • controls up to 8 heating zones
  • advanced ambient/water temperature control
  • programming daily and weekly – every day in a different way, as you require
  • turbo-boost mode (easy heating and drying) – full heating in all zones for 1, 2 or 3 hours
  • ECO mode (energy saving) – you can lower temperature in whole house by 3 degrees
  • H+ heater for bathroom radiators.
  • H+h heater for column, aluminium and cast iron radiators.

Please check the H+P manual HERE (pdf file)

You can charge the H+P programmer by a USB cable (included). Just connect it to the USB socket in any mobile charger or your computer’s USB socket.

First, connect the charger to an electric socket. Then connect microUSB plug to the H+P programmer. The plug icon will be shown on the programmer display. After charging, first, please wake up the display on the programmer by pushing ‚enter’ icon. When the display is on, you can detach a microUSB cabel from the controller.

The programmer should be placed possible in a central location in a house to maintain the best comunication possible with H+ and H+h heaters.

If any of the heaters signals communication problems with the programmer try to change a location of the programmer. It should be placed in a central location in the house to have the shortest possible distance to all Home+ heaters. The signal strenght is indicated by a green icon. The best communication is when the icon looks like this: signalok2
